Today is the day.

You picked up a challenge envelope and read a book you may never have tried before.

Starting TODAY you can turn in your Summer Reading challenge sheet at either Library’s Information Desk. You’ll take home a book for your personal reading stash AND be entered in the prize drawing for that Amazon gift card. Woo hoo!

P.S. Don’t forget your contact info. No Contact Info = No Entry in Prize Drawing.

Read on, my friends, read on.

OMG! Teen Summer Reading here at the library is in full swing and I just realized I haven’t said a word about it here yet! We’re trying something a little different this year. First of all, we’re going low tech so you’ll have to come into the library to pick up your reading forms. Second of all, we’ll be telling you what to read. But don’t worry, it’s not as bad as it sounds. =)

We think it’s great that you keep reading this summer! We also thought it would keep things interesting if you read books outside of your regular reading habits. In order to complete Teen Summer Reading, you have to take and finish a least one challenge. Here’s how it works:

  1. Stop by either Library to pick up your reading challenge.
  2. Bring your finished challenge sheet back to the Library.
  3. Receive a FREE book.
  4. Repeat!

Easy peasy, right? Each completed challenge form enters you into the end of summer drawing. The prize? An Amazon gift card. I KNOW! If I were eligible, I’d enter myself. Sadly, I’m not but if you are ages 13+ and live in the Carrollton area, YOU ARE! So come in today and pick up your challenge!
