Max is back

OK, so I feel like I’ve been living in a cave…or have been adrift at sea…or stuck on an island someplace… Why, you ask? Because I didn’t even know that a new Maximum Ride book came out!!! Oh, yeah, it came out on March 16 and I JUST found out TODAY. The library doesn’t have it yet, but we ordered it in February so hopefully it’ll be in any day now. I put it on hold today, and if you love Max and Fang and Angel and Gazzy and Nudge and Iggy and Total, then you better get your hold on soon before the line gets crazy-long!

According to the summary, Max will pick up right after the Flock’s last adventure in the arctic. Fish are dying and ships are going missing off the coast of Hawaii. The government asks the Flock for help figuring out what’s going on, and while they’re checking into stuff the big and bad Mr. Chu is scheming in his own criminal way about the Flock.

While you wait to get the book, you gotta check out Fang’s blog – either the original that started in 2005 or the new blog that started last fall is still going strong. It’s a lot of fun. And I’ll keep you posted on the Maximum Ride movie that’s supposed to come out in 2010.
