2007 was quite a year for books. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows FINALLY came out as did Eclipse, the last book in Stephenie Meyer’s vampire series.

What were YOUR favorites of ‘07? Was there an old book that you picked up for the first time that you absolutely loved? Did you start a new series that has you waiting anxiously for the latest installment? Have you become a lifelong fan of any authors?

We want to know! Leave us a comment with your favorites of ‘07 and why they’re on your hot list!

I had been waiting for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows for along time before I got it. You know, I live in Belorus, it is near Russia, and I have to wait a copy in russian to every interesting english and american book. But it was so difficult to wait, that I asked my uncle to buy HP in english to me. It was difficult to read this book, but I did it! I was very glad and proud, of course! That’s why HP is in my hot list.

Hi Helen! It’s nice to have a blog visitor all the way from Belorus! What a challenge to read if English isn’t your native language! HP was definitely one of my favorites of the year too.

Hi, cplteen ! I want to ask you a question; what other books do you like? I am interested in reading and I want to know what books do other teenagers like best of all.

Well, I am not CPLTEEN, BUT, I have a great book of reccomendations:)

    Fat Girl- By: Judith Moore(R.I.P)
-The book is an autobiography describing challenges Miss Moore went through in her lifetime, while being obese. The descriptions and words she uses will bring you to tears and move you mentally & physically. Regardless of your physical status, it’s an awesome book, even though I have not finished yet. :P

if you need more, I’ll check back and tell ya!
